My math teacher makes sounds during class 😭😭
ok, so my advanced functions teacher has this thing where she just… whistles and makes whooshing noises? Like, mid-lesson, she’ll randomly go “woooOOOOoshhh!” while solving problems on the board. And it’s not a one-time thing, bro, this is her signature move. Power law? Whoosh. Transformations? Whistle. Test day? WHOOOSH WHOOOOSH. Like, ma’am, the only thing flying through this room is my sanity.
It’s especially bad during tests. Picture this: the class is silent, everyone’s sweating trying to figure out why the fuck logs looks like hieroglyphics, and then out of nowhere you hear “WHOOOOooooOOOSHHH!” Bro, my graph paper almost took flight. And she’ll just keep going, like it’s background music. One guy actually started tapping his foot to the rhythm.
The worst part? She doesn’t even notice. Like, she’ll be walking around handing out test papers, going “doot-doo-doo-WHOOOOSHHH” while I’m over here wondering if I should report this to the Guinness World Records for Most Distracting Human Ever.
And the wildest thing? SHE DOES IT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE. Like, no explanation, no “sorry for the whooshing.” Just vibes. Honestly, I’m starting to think it’s her way of asserting dominance, and honestly, it’s working. I can’t even graph a sine function anymore without hearing her soundtrack in my head.
At this point, I’m either dropping out or bringing noise-canceling headphones to class. Someone please tell me I’m not crazy and this isn’t normal teacher behavior.
