[Any literacy] Your (preferably magical, but any is fine) OC was going about their day, when they hear a strange sound... (Read body)

Your OC was going about their day, maybe walking somewhere, maybe walking home (you decide)when they hear a strange sound. It sounds like a growl, like a creature was snarling at them. Looking around, they don't see anything, but once they think they are in the clear, a demon (image 1) starts chasing them. What do they do?

Rules:
