Terrible experience

Outback manager bringing my second steak, because the first steak was rare: cut it open before I go.

Me cutting it open: it's still rare

OM: well it's thick

Me looking at my six oz filet: but this is a steak house, you should be able to cook a steak.

OM takes it away and brings it back two minutes later: try again

Me cutting it and seeing warm pink instead of cold red: this is doable

Folks, I think they microwaved my steak... But it was free.

They also gave another table our appetizer and had to make a totally new one, which had us sitting with no food for about twenty minutes. Then we didn't get drink refills. Then they were out of mashed potatoes. then they gave us someone else's check after sitting for another twenty minutes waiting for them to bring the check.

I swear four times someone came out with food or drink and started asking random tables if it was theirs, only for it to be the next table over.

I mean, what if I wanted my filet well done? (Which is a travesty to do to any steak) They just going to bring it out still mooing and say oh well, we tried?
