I think Claire's narration is one of the key reasons why most of us fell in love with her and got invested in her story, because it's a tunnel to her psyche and inner world. And for me personally, I have always found her narration to be very poignant and well-articulated. I would never be able to talk like that. I know the credits should go to the writers, but I still find the narration to suit Claire's personality very well.
I also miss Claire practicing medicine so much. It is very her because that is how we came to know her in the very beginning. I particularly love it when she connected with other practitioners like when she was in France. She did practice medicine a little bit in the latest season but it was not as frequent as in earlier seasons, I think.
