Would you get a PRS over a Fender Strat?

Asking on the PRS subreddit might result in some biased answers, but would you get a PRS over a Fender Strat? I have a Squire Telecaster and was considering a Fender Strat (as everyone should have one) but have my eye on a PRS SE DGT instead. It’s more interesting and seems better quality.

Thoughts? Will I regret not having a Fender Strat in my collection first?
