Questions on the current state of jailbreaking PS5

Hello!

I know a lot of people are working on workarounds and other things to make jailbreaks possible. There are a lot of components to these things as far as I've seen, and I know that there's no real way to rush through these things and I'm greatful that people are putting together ways to do things like this.

My question is as follows: What is the true current state, and are we anywhere near getting a method to get to old firmware?
