Does anybody else fear a lack in long-term-fun?

I love TCGs and play Pokemon and YuGiOh in RL and Marvel Snap on my phone so I clearly also started PTCGP!

And for now I really like the collecting part and trying to get all cards together for the really good decks BUT

  • matches are so short that your cards are extremly important, so no meta-deck = extremely reduced chance to win
  • if you are unlucky with your start-hand, with the following draws and/or the coin-flips you WILL lose the game, nothing much you can do about it
  • while tactical decisions are undoubtedly there, they are very marginal imho because your tactical options (by game design and current support-cards) are very very limited
  • the matchmaking is absolutely garbage because how should it be otherwise? regardless of the player-level somebody could get the cards for a very good deck really fast or never

So I fear that future-wise everything will be all about the best meta-decks and what cards you will need to collect to really have the best chances in the short matches. And if you play off meta you will forfeit a lot of matches until you really have a chance for a good game.

What is your opinion?
