Map reset, game freezes or crashes

Xbox version. Recently got to level 41. I returned to title screen to do some errands, then when I got back in later that day, I opened up the map and it was completely reset. About 10 seconds afterwards my game crashed. I got back in and everytime I accidentally open the map it does it again. Reset my xbox, no difference. Un-installed and reinstalled game, no difference. Played for a day or two without opening the map but now it just freezes or crashes about 30 seconds after I start the game. Started a new game and everything works just fine on the new save.

I don't really want to start all over. Any ideas?
