Inverted crucifixes in hospital rooms.
I'm an RN and work mostly nights at an outpatient facility. The place has it's share of ghost stories. Most places do to some extent. Some of the staff have claimed to see thing. I only have one relevant experience that I can't explain aside from this one.
So, a patient last night called me to her room and asked me if I could put the crucifix on her wall back to the upright position. I would have never noticed, but she said it was making her uncomfortable.
No problem. I flipped it back to the proper position.
Come around midnight she calls me and asks me to fix it again. She said "the Lord doesn't deserve that". I don't know how it moved. But I fixed it again.
Around three in the morning she called me again and asked me to fix it again. She also asked if she could move rooms, which is something I just couldn't accommodate. I took it off the wall and placed it near her bed.
Out of curiosity I went into the room next door to hers and say the crucifix in that room in the same position.
I went across the hall and saw the crucifix hanging correctly. These were things that I just don't pay attention to. I considered the fact that she may have been sleep walking and just did it herself, but I don't know. I would notice her getting up.
So, I don't really know if this is paranormal, or maybe that particular side of the building has some sort of architecture related explanation. Still an interesting night.
