I need advice! My son is sick

My 9 year old son has been quite sick this school year. He got sick as soon as the school year started and has probably missed more school days than he's been to. Now the doctors are talking about putting tubes in his ears, but they want us to wait to see if he gets better on his own. In the mean time, he feels pretty decently ok except he's so full of snot!! He has trouble containing it. He has trouble blowing his nose on his own. There's so much. So, my question is, do I send him to school? He feels ok. I don't want him to miss so much school. It's important for him to socialize. He's also supposed to go to Camp next weekend. I don't want him to miss these things. Would you guys send your child? Would you be upset if a kid who can't breathe though his nose and was snotty was at school with your kid? It'd been months. He missing out on life. Idk what to do.
