1 year old help

How’s it going everyone hope the holidays were good for you guys. We have a 1 year old and live in an apartment complex. He’s entering the terrible toddler stage where he’s crying if he dosent get a banana “nana” or a bottle “baba” it’s getting bad, I’m worried sick he’s going to get us noise complaints being so early and late at night. I get him what he needs but this is my first kid I’m unsure of how to let him know yelling crying loud is not okay. Maybe he’s too young to learn but I thought I would ask some vets
