Should I be concerned about impressions taking a dive when getting monetized?

Hey folks,

I've read in the past few weeks a couple of times that impressions took a serious dive when the channel got fully monetized.

Is this something I should be worried about? Can you share your experiences when you got monetized perhaps? Ideally add a date too :)
