New to pc building and need help

So im new to pc gaming and decided to upgrade my gpu from a 1650 to a rtx 6700 xt, i watched a video on how to install it and did it with DDU, i followed everything until he finished putting the new GPU in, i followed but now my GPU led light is on and i have a black screen and im worried i messed something up and will need a new MB. i tried connecting the 1650 again and still has a yellow light. any help would be appreciated.
