Upper Back Pain Week Before Period

Hi everyone :) Just found this sub & had a question thats been bothering me a long time

Whenever I try to google this I never find any information because any google search involving back pain and periods always defaults to lower back pain. But for as long as I have been having periods one of my PMS symptoms has been back pain/ache in my upper back right behind my right shoulder blade. Never the left side, always the right. Without fail, like clockwork, the few days before I get my period. It’s not bad pain, I don’t even take anything for it, it just confuses me because I know most period related back pain is in the lower back.

Does anyone else experience this? Or does anyone know why this might be?
