Looking for ETF diversification advice

Hey, my question was regarding investing in VOO or VFV. I heard VFV is basically VOO but in Canadian price, using Wealthsimple, is there a specific reason there are two of these?

What options for ETF’s would you consider that still have a good dividend yield? I’m essentially looking for 2-3 ETF’s I can alternate between investing. I’m also curious as to if all ETF’s are just long term or if there are some short term too?

Currently I’m thinking VOO, VTI, and XEQT.
