Picking up a independent contractor side job in addition to regular employment. What are the tax implications, specifically regarding employer CPP?

Hello, and sorry if this has been asked before, I tried to do some searching but came up without answers.

I currently work a regular full time job where I make $73,000 base and up to $85,000 with OT.

I am picking up a side job where I will work as an independent contractor for a single company. This will increase my income for the year by as much as $24,000.

I will be an "independent contractor" in this side job role. So I am wondering how that may effect how much tax I end up paying on that $24,000, particularly regarding CPP. In my base role I max out the employee CPP payments, so I will not need to pay additional employee CPP on my $24,000 side gig income. However, since I am an independent contractor (I am not registered or whatever, just working under my own name), will I also need to pay the employer CPP portion for myself? If that is the case, can anyone point me to some sort of calculator where I can put the above information in and see?

I have tried to use the Wealthsimple tax calculator with my 85,000 base salary and 24,000 self employment income, and the CPP/EI portion does not change. So just wanting to confirm that, I guess.
