People getting upset when other people help the homeless.
Like, why do you care?? It's not your money??? Literally what is your problem with people voluntarily deciding, uncoerced, to give money or time or whatever the fuck? People will say shit like "oh that won't help them back on their feet" or "you're just enabling them" and it's like yeah fuck we're enabling them to stay alive, I guess?
Like if you were to be homeless you would probably want someone handing out free sandwiches, right? Plus if I'm giving someone like $5, what else was I going to do with that? Buy a latte? I literally just do not understand where the anger comes from. Also you can just keep your mouth shut! I don't tell people that I think their philanthropic choices are dumb, but apparently it's allowed when the people getting helped are either 1) homeless people or 2) stray animals.
