Something is off about this dress and I can't figure it out

I love the color of this dress but something about it makes me feel boxy. ls it too long ( im 5"3")? Is it the bodice? Waistline? Should I get it altered to a midi? Pls help 🥲 I want a dress this color but haven't found anything that fits right 😫 Recommendations are also a plus.
