How is the launch price calculated?

I'm new to Crypto: How would the starting price of Pi be calculated? I know price is about supply and demand, but how does it Work If demand isn't known (so right at the start) or do all coins Generally just start at ~0$? I am absolutely not asking for a price prediciton because i know thats not possible.
