Just Got Stolen from.

Man, I really don't know where to start. It has just come into my realization that I have been washed off all my hard-earned PI that I have acquired over the last 6 years. How I wish that I had found Reddit earlier, especially this space; I think I could have avoided this tragedy.

You see, I wanted to have an exchange account just to be ready; I wasn't trying to sell my coins or anything. I believe i made an fb comment on some post asking about the best exchange available to my country. So this dude slides into my DM offering to guide me. He mentions OKX, gets me to install their app on my phone, and he is with me through the whole process, so he seems like a legit fellow.

After the account is all set, he then proceeds to give me a link to “further secure your account.”. I sheepishly click the link, and I reach a point where I am told to “paste your passphrase to finalize.”.

You see, my reasoning was, if someone is to steal my coins, they must have my app password, email, and phone number. Guess who was wrong, ME. Turns out my passphrase is all that was or is required to lose your precious coins. So 8,600 coins are gone just like that, and my only hope is gone also.

I really had a lot of hope in this project, and I still do; if I didn't, I wouldn't have clicked a button for 6 years. It's Just that I will not be part of the winning team in the end.

Please don't call me a fool; the agony I am in is enough. Everyone is naive at some point, and this time it happened to be me, and Pi happens to be my first crypto, so.
