Tribesmen job selection

Please help me with what is an easy or ignorant question. When i go to the work tab and select a job, say the outhouse for example, what do you type in the space under outhouse and above the quantity?! It asks for the keywords but nothing to select either. What should i type? Nothing in the “common sense realm” works. Thanks for any ideas or advice.
