DLC work for both games?

Hey I just recently got into Scarlet/Violet. I was gifted both version (Violet and Scarlet) and my question is if I buy the DLC bundle will the DLC be accessible on both games? Or will I have to buy the game twice? I googled this and couldn't find the answer. Thanks in advance!
