Wendigos in ponytown

Hello I recently had someone tell me about how it's offencive to have these as characters in the game. Since I found out I re labeled myself as a "Deer Demon". My question here is if it'll continue to be offencive to us this character even with the new label. I enjoy the cryptid from a design perspective but wanted feedback on this topic. The last thing I want is to offend anyone of course.

Edit: I feel like it's for the best to just not say it's name in the game. I do find it interesting that it's labeled as offensive when it's in so much media. I've been fascinated by what I've found on the topic and will continue to look into it. This has always been one of my favorite cryptids and now I understand it more then I ever did.
