Could Cayman be a daily?

I now drive a 18 BMW 440. It’s time to sell as the mileage is approaching 180k. I drove the new 330 & 440 and discovered that the new BMWs are… not my cup of tea.
I really enjoyed driving a Cayman - the steering, suspension, precision - all the things that BMWs no longer possess.
However, it’s a RWD 2 seater and I frequently have to go on 300-500 mile trips to Midwest and NE.
Does anyone drive their Cayman daily? How are the seats no long trips? How does it drive in the rain?
