I've seen people do this matchup before but it's been a while and recently people's perception of Sonic in general has changed pretty drastically. This is Game Classic Sonic from the Neoclassic timeline, meaning everything from both the old pre-Adventure games, as well as any of the newer material from thing like Generations and Mania and Superstars are all on the table. Goku has everything from before the Piccolo Jr saga, as that's when he grew to be an adult.
