Miscarriage or Subchronic Hematoma

I am 8 weeks pregnant.

I had an early ultrasound done at 6 weeks and a gestational sac was seen. No yolk sac or fetal pole yet. The sac was also irregular in contour. They also noted a "tiny subchronic collection"

I may have ovulated on Day 17 so that might be why I was a bit behind.

I had spotting Dec 25th and the 27th. Very light pink spotting.

Then I went few days without spotting but last week the spotting picked up again with a bright red bleed on Thursday. The bleed only lasted 15 mins and no clots and no cramps. It has tapered off and only spotting again. Very light.

Does this sound like a miscarriage or a subchronic hematoma to you?

I have a rescan this Friday and I can go get my HCG levels checked but I am so nervous 😔😔
