When did you go into labour after mucus plug

I'm 38 weeks today and lost my mucus plug. I started losing pieces yesterday afternoon and this morning a big chunk like snot came out (was slightly blood tinged) sorry if TMI . This is my first baby and I was wondering what people's experiences have been, how long did it take to go into labour after losing your plug.
