I don’t understand the allure of GMTs…so overrated and useless

Is anyone actually using their GMT to monitor another timezone? This seems like the most useless thing, I can’t thing of ever wanting to do this. I don’t travel internationally so maybe it would be nice in that scenario. I’ve seen a couple posts of people saying they do business in China or Europe, but come on….all these GMTs and I doubt 97% ever are using that functionality.

So I see people getting these GMTs….why? Just bc it looks cool? Why not get a diver then, at least that bezel is actually useful. It makes no sense to me.

The other watch functionality I don’t really understand is tachymeter, bc I also don’t believe anyone is really using it. It looks cool and at least that functionality is more interesting than the GMT so I won’t hate, although I’d never want one. I understand why someone would get a chronograph, that is useful and looks badass. Tachymeter…you really using that? GMT….you can’t just add or subtract 1 or 2 in your head?
