What happened if you don’t react to intrusive thoughts?

Look, i don’t have OCD, but i have intrusive thoughts that are sometimes hard to contrôle. And sometimes when i don’t react, i’d panic because i’ll think ‘’ what if i agree with them, what if theyre not intrusive thoughts? ‘’. And it gets very stressful. And i wanna Ask you. As the title said, what happens if don’t react to my intrusive thoughts? And if i don’t react to them, are they still concidered as unwanted thoughts ( intrusive thoughts ) ?
