Branch Detail ROTC

I’m currently a MS3 and I’ve been looking at how I want rank my branch preferences in TBB. I want infantry no matter what, regardless if I just do it during my LT time. Can I have a branch detail ranked above the actual branch itself? For example, 1. Infantry 2. AG (detail IN) 3. Signal (detail IN). Can this strategy work or would the army branch me straight into AG or Signal without the detail possibly? I don’t really want to do be in any of those branches unless I can get detailed to infantry.
