What's your favorite Asian and Asian-American Literature?

Beyond Murukami, Mishima, Han Kang, and Banana Yashimoto, what is the landscape of Asian and Asian-American literature? What are your faves and why?

My personal shout-out here is Kenzaburo Oe's "A Personal Matter" -- really wrenching '60s novel about the horror of fatherhood to a disabled child, based on the author's real life.
