Do I need VPN after recent changes? RD+ Stremio.

I am not able to find a clear answer and I am not understanding fully what changes happened recently.

On Stremio, for now, I am not noticing changes except I see many more RD+ than before for each file I click.

Do I keep using it without VPN?
