S&W Model 27-2 3.5” Fair Price?

There’s a pawn shop near me that has a 3.5” S&W Model 27-2 for $750. It’s obviously got some wear, but the rifling is sharp, the timing is perfect, and I’d be buying one of these as a shooter and as a collector’s piece anyway. Should I jump on this or not? Also, the tag had the serial on it, so I scratched it out in most of the pics.
