About Yrliet's Act 3 Decision...

I've seen a lot of folks trying to say that Yrliet was deceived and that she doesn't really hold as much blame as people are saying, and I call total BS on this idea. Ok, sure there is some nuance here-- she is desperate, she wants to find her people again, but holy shit dude, making a deal with a Drukhari as an Aeldari and not thinking something terrible will happen...?

But it's not just that she should have known. She openly admits to feeling angry and upset that you have a shard of her homeworld in your own study, when she's describing why you all got ambushed. The context of this conversation is her explaining why you were all attacked instead of exploring a wreck for her brethren. And she admits to being frustrated and angry at you for having a piece of her home on display.

I believe that because of her own admittance, she probably suspected the Drukhari would try and pull something, and didn't mention it on purpose.

Think about it. She never asked the Drukhari not to harm any of you-- if she did, she would absolutely have said she negotiated to keep you safe. That wasn't the deal. The deal was simply to help her find her people, and the fact that she requested you specifically to bring her there, and be there with her, to me suggests she was willingly putting you in harms way. Maybe not on purpose, but she certainly knew what could have happened.
