Does the romance destabilize Heinrix somehow?

So, watched a friend play through Heinrix romance, one of his romance scenes has him confess killing someone accidentally after losing control of his powers, a lot like Idira did. In this scene he is also in the process of... what seems like killing himself using his own powers, out of guilt. To me that scene looked like that he'd have done it if the RT hadn't intervened.

I played male RT myself (ie didn't romance him) and there was never anything that implied Heinrix having killed someone. Or being in a state of detoriating mental health for that matter.

So does being in a relationship with RT cause him lose control somehow? Or does this loss of control happen anyways, and he just manages to cover up the killing AND to not die out of guilt afterwards?
