Santiel's Pride

So it's pretty obvious this world was cut but after actually going into the files it's insane to me how much was. I thought it would just be a small missing boss fight. Not a lair of cannibals and survivors being manipulated by drukari. It makes it make more sense that they're here for that rather than have all these troops stationed on a dead world bullying two scouts. But in the base game that's all we see.

Who are they even setting an ambush for?

Without commands there's clearly things missing, the Medusa interaction that goes nowhere, the scouts you save who feel like a barebones quest that's easy to miss anyways.

But dialogue in the uncut version and cut version refer to yourself as the ruler of this world which the game tells you is supposed to be under Chorda. Is it possible the planet was supposed to be the players originally?

All right forget the question, it's undeniable. There's notes saying "Dargonus is not going to leave us?" And specific Valancius nobles and name drops. No mention of Chorda in this area. Just straight up cut planet that was supposed to be ours.
