Running in Manhattan
I'm visiting NYC for the first time in a couple of weeks, and was wondering how easy it is to run the streets of Manhattan?
I'm staying near Central Park, but am interested in running to Lower Manhattan down 5th Avenue, before running over Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, then back again. Is this a bad idea, or is it very doable? I usually do most of my runs around 6-7am onwards.
I'm flying out just after completing my goal race for the spring, so won't care about hitting any paces, but would appreciate being able to hold a fairly steady pace without too many stop starts. Am I expecting too much?
