s90D Firmware update 1201.8

Just purchased a 77" s90DD (Costco model) a couple of days ago. Love the picture right out of the box. Came with firmware 1131. Does anyone know what the available update to 1201.8 does? I am leery of updating if it impacts the picture quality. Thanks!
