[Uni] Asking about uni and courses

Hello! Been looking at university courses and im quite confused 😅

1) how does nus college of humanities and sciences work? (is it the fusion of both schools?, new batch = new modules?, how competitive would it be to get into it?)

2) I'm interested in a course related to the "environment" (like trees, conservation and stuff). I've checked out environmental studies (NUS), environmental engineering (NTU and NUS) and Life sciences(NUS).

a) are there anymore courses related to the "environment"?

b) Anybody willing to give insights in the courses stated above? (as in workload, interest,
competition to get into the course etc)

3) any slice of wisdom before getting into uni? (finance, tips etc)
