[POLY] Questions about NYP/NP/RP/SP courses
I'm interested in the following courses from these polys!:
- Social Work (NYP)
- Visual Communication (NYP)
- Design (NP)
- Early Childhood (NP)
- Mass Comm (RP)
- Media, Arts and Design (SP)
Was wondering if anyone from these courses can share their experience in these courses! I'll be coming from higher nitec JPAE and my course isn't relevant to any of these except early childhood so I'm really nervous about applying for them.
I'm really interested in the arts but I'm really anxious if my art isn't up to par with everyone else if I do get accepted. I'm especially worried about SP'S MAD diploma because of how broad it is??? I'm worried if I can cope there.
I don't even know whether to put arts (something I'm interested in but my higher nitec course isn't relevant so might have lesser chance of getting in?) or to put early childhood (something I'm also interested in but not as much as arts but might have a better chance of entering because my course is relevant) as my first choice for JPAE. I'm confused about which order to put my choices in...sigh
My questions are:
- How are the internships? What did you do for internships/final year projects?
- Are there a lot of group projects in your first year/first semester?
- How is the culture in your course?
- How are the lecturers?
Thank you in advance!
