I got my very first SHMA figure today

This is a very monumental event for me. For almost as long as I’ve been a Godzilla fan I’ve always desired a SHMA figure. I’ve just never gotten around to getting one. Every now and then I desire something but put it off.

I tell you I think now is the absolute peak time for me to finally get into this. My favorite Godzilla design is 2004, so with that reissue I finally feel like it’s the right time, as otherwise it wouldn’t feel right to not have my top design.

Then they revealed Godzilla 2000, Burning Godzilla in addition. Besides those I was really interested in the 70th anniversary 1954. Those are literally all the actual Godzilla figures I could ask for.

Maybe a 1984, 1994 and new GMK could be interesting but my desire isn’t even half as strong for my top 4.

I won’t open the figure until the 25th since I did kind of get this as a Christmas present for myself, but already super happy to finally have my first ever SHMA.

Still super excited. The non Godzilla figures I want are a Kiryu, Gigan (final wars), a SpaceGodzilla (with normal dorsal plates), and Destroyah. Besides Destroyah none of those are likely to get a figure anytime soon, so it helps that I won’t be overwhelmed in wanting to buy too many under a short time window. Also gives me something to look forward to in the future and hope for.
