People who flunked 2024 CGL prelims, what went wrong?

Let’s take accountability for our failures. This post can be an opportunity for self-reflection - a chance to honestly evaluate our mistakes so that we don’t repeat them in 2025. It can also help others learn from these mistakes and avoid making the same ones. So, tell us, what went wrong in your preparation journey? I’ll start:

Inconsistency in preparation. 2 weeks of excellent studying followed by doing absolutely nothing in the third week.

Relying on external motivation.

Lack of discipline.

Getting distracted too easily.

Giving too much importance to lack of companionship.

Not able to finish syllabus on time and hence lack of revision because of all these factors.
