How do I learn to fish?

Hi Sacramento,

I’d like to learn how to fish, cook it, and eat it, but have no one to teach me. I’m squeamish about killing things but not about guts and am prepared to get over myself (probably). How do I actually learn how to do this? Is there a fish farm that can handhold me into the hobby or should I get some shitty rod off amazon and watch some youtube videos?
