A study in contrasts
The Telegraph had an article on the Princess of Wales’s visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she spoke with staff and patients: archived / unarchived
I couldn’t help thinking that descriptions of her interactions would differ greatly from Meghan’s on her last (and possibly every other) visit to victims.
Here are some extracts from the article.
It’s pretty much always about Meghan, but not so with the Princess:
Meghan might have Diana’s watch (which she wore after her divorce from Charles), but she doesn’t have Diana’s engagement ring, nor her patronages (here, of the Royal Marsden Hospital)7:
This sounds like a genuine sentiment from the Princess of Wales:
And the Princess will follow up:
Compare this to descriptions (as gushed by Pasadena mayor Victor Gordo and laid down for posterity by Meghan mouthpiece People rag - not bothering to link unless someone wants it) of Meghan and Harry’s visit to the California wildfire victims:
But wait, there’s more!
(Reaches out for more insulin.)
Really curious as to how a couple of nobodies could ‘really‘ buoy spirits and caused people to be ‘very happy’ to see them. It’s not as if they were Julia Roberts and George Clooney.
