U.S. citizen helping spouse obtain tourist visa

Me (American citizen) and my wife (Chinese citizen with US Green Card) are going to Paris in mid March for a week and preparing all of the files. One thing I’m worried about is the proof of funds. She works part time and has a pretty small paycheck. We have a joint bank account, but her money goes into her own individual account. Can I use my bank statements as well as our joint statement in addition to hers as proof? We are planning on attaching our marriage certificate and tax return as well.

Would it also be helpful for me to attend the interview with her?

And when going through immigration at the airport, can we go through together? I would hate for her to get taken back for more questioning, or even worse, denied entry.

We will also be traveling with other family members who are American citizens. Is it helpful to include all of the traveler’s names in the cover letter?
