How's everyone first day back?

I know a lot of schools in my area are starting back today, and I just got home from my morning route. I also had to stop by the bus yard to get some things taken care of.

My morning wasn't that bad! Over the holiday break, I drove my route once a day every day in my truck. This morning, everything went as smooth as it could. It was raining, so that kinda slowed things down a little bit. But you know, I picked up all my students, got them to the right schools, and got my bus back to the middle school in one piece. I will say though, I hate that people rake their leaves out onto the street. I try to avoid them when I can, but there were a couple of times this morning where I couldn't avoid the pile of leaves.

Now I'm just killing time at home before my afternoon run.
