Algae advice needed

I searched online and here, but can't seem to get a good answer. I want to start a new tank and it's Winter. I have grow lights and a heater, but I'm wondering if I should buy live algae to "seed" the tank with. The windows won't be open until at least April so nothing's going to "blow in." I'm in NE Ohio (US) so not a whole lot of saltwater algae is roaming the indoor air.

I'm looking for cheaper algae sources (around $20 USD), but I want something brine shrimp will be happy & healthy eating.
