Place to just get my hair thinned?

I'm a guy with hair between short and medium length and recently got a haircut, but the stylist didn't think my hair out so it looks kind of heavy for my preference. I'd like to get it thinned but I'm hoping to avoid paying the full cost of a haircut. Does anyone know any place to do this in Seattle? Thanks!
