What’s the rudest way you’ve been stiffed?

I’ve probably been stiffed in a worse way if I try to remember stuff from working ToGo at Outback. But I’m at Applebees now as a server I’m stiffed constantly because people where I live are pretty cheap. Our store specifically has a pretty bad issue with it even with the best servers.

I had a table one night, family of 7, 3 adults 4 kids. They ran up a 150 dollar tab. They ran me like hell the whole time they were there. Eventually I dropped the check and ran to the back to grab something for another table, I come back out and they’re all gone. I give it about a minute before I go out looking for a license plate. The dad comes back in the side door and waved his card at me. I run the card and try to hand him the check to sign. He holds up his hand and says “keep the check” as though he’s telling me to keep the change. Pure rage, all I did was smile and point to the door behind him. I can’t believe the audacity of some people, but I know y’all definitely got worse than that.
