Ever had someone take your handheld?

Had a table take my servers handheld, hide it, send her into a panic attack, gaslight her, then made a scene. I know, putting the handheld in customer reach is asking for problems, but damn, it's only Friday, folks.

This customer comes in with half the members of a walk-in 13. No big deal. Set it up, serve them drinks, and start getting the children food order sent in. An hour later, the rest of the party arrives.

Our server drops off drinks, starts the rest of the order, left their Toast handheld at the table. Not ideal.

Our server is young and is panicking. She's looking at every table, server station, and frantically searching the kitchen.

Table proceeds to ask if she is "missing something" and how they wanted to "play with her longer," but they needed more drinks.

Got the handheld, fired the order, fifteen minutes max, and the food is cold. She screamed at our staff on the way out, asking again for managers and owners.
